Help for Lead Water Supply Lines

     If your home has been found to have lead pipes suppling fresh water to your home, the City of St Paul can help. There is a program in place by the Saint Paul Regional Water Services (SPRWS) to help homeowners replace this piping. The home owner is financially responsible for the water pipe replacement from the meter located inside the house  to the property line.
 
     The SPRWS has calculated that this replacement cost, on average, is $3,300, but there is a program in place to ammertize this as an assessment to your property taxes.
